Definition: Wheel hub, also known as wheel rim, steel rim, wheel hub, tire bell, etc., is a cylindrical metal component that supports the inner contour of a tire and is centrally mounted on the shaft.

Function: As an important component in the automotive driving system, it plays a role in carrying, steering, driving, and braking. Its performance directly affects the safety, handling stability, and ride comfort of the vehicle.

Structural composition

Wheel rim: mainly used for installing, supporting, and fastening tires, bearing the load on the tires, dissipating heat during high-speed driving, and ensuring the appropriate cross-sectional width and lateral rigidity of the wheel hub.

Wheel spokes: connecting the axle and hub, constructing the structure of the wheel to ensure stability. Different shapes and quantities of spokes can affect the appearance and performance of the hub.

Center cover: located in the central part of the wheel hub, generally made of materials such as aluminum alloy, with high strength and corrosion resistance, playing a protective and decorative role.

Wheel rim: Composed of a part of the wheel rim, it complements the bead seat and serves to guide the direction of the tire.

Valve hole: An opening reserved on the wheel rim for installing tire valves, used for inflating and deflating tires.
